Our metal detectors have moved out of the toy category, and into the "Oh, Boy!" category. Not quite professional quality -- even A.S.&S. prices are not THAT unbelievable -- this is still an excellent device that's loaded with features. Its (3) different detection schemes can distinguish between ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It has a submersible 8" dia coil, an adjustable shaft that telescopes from 16" to 28", a handle with an arm support, an analog meter, (3) different audio tones, and a headphone jack. After calibration, it can be retuned with one button. Requires (3) 9-volt batteries (not included). You know how you've always wanted a metal detector? Well, this is it!
