Elasto-Straps
These super-useful stretchy straps start out 16" long and grab onto themselves with strong hook-and-loop closures on the ends. They form a 4" dia circle closed (with one revolution) and stretch to approx 9-10" dia. Great for tools, extension cords, camping equipment, and they make dandy bicycle clips when doubled around your ankle.

Re-Usable Tape
They're fightin' over this stuff in the office. The 3M" people call it "Bundling Wrap" and sell it for wrapping fishing rods, bundling tent stakes, cable, cords, like that, but we think it's got hundreds of applications. It's 1" wide forest green fabric ribbon/tape with very, very small hooks on the back and teensy loops on the fabric front. Cut off just the amount you'll need, wrap it around stuff, and it hangs on like it's in love. Very useful for gardening, crafts, organizing tools and briefcases, strapping pants to ankles on bike commutes, being the utilitarian ribbon on a gift wrapped for some handy guy, and lots more. You'll get a 9-foot spool, super-cheap, and we'd hide it if we were you.

Spherical Laser Level
The clever devils at Zircon® Tools designed this ultra-compact 4-way bubble and laser level. It's a 2-7/16" dia plastic sphere (think racquetball) with a backlit 3/4" sq bubble level and a 5mW red laser built in. You mount the little metal cup on the wall with one of the (12) included self-adhesive pads, then pop the level into the cup where a magnet holds it while you turn it to plumb or level. Includes (3) button cell batteries.

Our each is (6) translucent white-plastic storage/sorting bins, 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" x 2-1/4" deep, with latching hinged tops, and (here's the cool part) built-in sturdy belt clips on the long side. Could hold parts for installers, treats for dog trainers, craft supplies, pea shooter ammo, or any number of things. Would also happily clip to masonite, plywood, or metal strips in the shop or studio.

Our aluminum version is marked to adjust for any angle from 0° to 90°, and locks with a thumbscrew. Jaws open to 2-7/8". Has 3/16" mounting holes on the underside, and measures approx 6" x 7" OA. Need a nonconductive pad? A cushiony surface to absorb vibrations? This flexible -- but really sturdy -- black-rubber mat is 1/4" thick x 15" x 16-1/4" and weighs nearly 4 lbs. A tapered edge makes it slightly smaller on the top, which also has a raised edge and a groove on one side. No, we're not sure why.
