Robot Claw
Now the kids (6 and up) can really behave like robots!! A 20" long arm with a pair of jaws on one end has a sliding handle in the other. Squeeze the handle and the jaws close, release and they open. Simple toy similar to a pickup tool but packaged in plastic for the robotic look that is all the rage these days.

Sparkdino!!
We adore him!! Far and away the most charming, talented and generally lovable monster we have seen in ages!! He is about 2" dia x 3" tall. (Needs a bit of a diet, truth to say.) When you wind him up he travels forward with a waddling walk, breathing a shower of sparks from his mouth!! Green, yellow and orange painted plastic, with a face like a cross between a crocodile and a frog with teeth, and a stubby tail, he is absolutely charming and irresistible.

Hand Blasters
Instant annoyance for adults and fun for kids, 8 and over. A pair of balls 13/16" in diameter, one sickly green, one mottled rose. Never mind the color. Hold one in your hand, toss the other in the air and catch it with the hand holding the first one. When they hit, they emit a loud pop like the cap in a cap gun. Blasts safely over 200 times. Which should be enough to wear out both parent and child. Made in Taiwan.

Flying Bird
From France comes this fun mechanical plastic bird that really flies by flapping its wings. It is about 8" long and has a wingspan of 16" tip to tip. Snap the wings in place, wind up the rubberband drive and toss it gently into the air on its maiden flight. It flies up to fifty yards with a satisfying fluttering sound. Comes with a spare rubberband drive mechanism.

It's 1953 all over again! Now you can buy your favorite childhood toy for your grandkids! We have the original Burp Gun that rapid-fires small ping-pong-type balls the length of our office as fast as we can pump the barrel (no batteries needed). All right, we remember the grip of the original as plain old brown plastic, and this one is bright red - but kids are used to a lot more stimulation these days! The Burp Gun, which comes with 15 balls, is 30" long when fully extended. The Burp Pistol, which comes with 7 balls, is 12" at its smallest and extends to 17". Great fun - but maybe you'd better buy a couple of bags of extra balls (10 per bag). Big sisters still stomp on them.

We Have Liftoff
Rocket toy or turkey baster? Both! The launcher is a baster-type plastic bulb over which you put 3" long styrofoam rockets. If you're age 3 or older, squeeze the bulb and watch super-light rockets blast across the room. It comes with launcher and (3) rockets in red, yellow and blue. When you lose the rockets, take your baster-launcher to the kitchen and help with dinner.

Shrink Plastic
Incredible stuff!! And even better than those dinky cutouts you used to make! Our each is a pack of (8) 8" x 10-1/2" shrinking plastic sheets that start clear and stay clear. Draw a design, write a message, create a sign, whatever. Cut it out, bake it in a 350° oven for about 3 minutes, and it shrinks to 45% of its original size. Problem with certain pencils and markers on the slick sheets? Try a light sanding (320-400 grit) before writing on it. (The surface will be more opaque.) What a fun way to make small errors become insignificant!

Perpetual Motion
Spin this spindle and watch it turn in perpetuity!! Well, for a long time anyway. Inside the 5-1/2" long colored plastic spindle are magnets which are repelled by magnets in the 5" x 3" black plastic base. The variously colored spindle floats in the air above the base thus virtually free of normal friction. It also has red lights to light up its way as it spins, giving it almost a strobing effect.
