Sticky Dispenser
To stick on your PC monitor or desktop. From Henkel/Manco, the "Look for the Duck" tape people, this refillable 2-1/2" x 1-1/8" black-plastic tape dispenser comes with 400" of 1/2"-wide cellophane tape. The dispenser can be mounted multiple times on any clean, smooth surface, vertical or horizontal, via its clever base, which acts like self-adhesive tape but never seems to wear out. Microscopic suction cups, they say, and we believe them.

Got Plastic Slivers?
Try plastic tweezers. Joke. But you do need this pair of 5" long blue-plastic tweezers, with serrated jaws and 1/16" wide tips, for electronics applications (no fear of magnetization). They're safer for kids' crafts classes and school projects, too, and mighty affordable at less than 35 cents each.

A Plethora Of Pocket Models

They're full-color, punch-out models that start out looking like credit cards and end up standing up by themselves. The appeal? They're small, entertaining, dirt cheap, and there are a whole lot of them. Kidlets age 6 and up will be tied up for hours assembling and playing with these packs of (9) different pirate ships, dinosaurs or tropical fish, all approx 2" long, or the slightly smaller (approx 1-1/2" when assembled) packs of (14) transformer bots or spaceships and alien creatures.

We Wuz Framed
And we did it ourselves with this little mat cutter and self-healing cutting mat. The dual-blade mat cutter has a comfy rubber handle and a removable bevel for clean 45° cuts. The blade adjusts to 9/16" deep and is 4-1/2" long OA, and replacement blades are standard stock in art supply stores. The hard rubber cutting mat is self-healing and no, we don't know how it does that. It's 11-3/4" x 8-3/4" x 1/8" thick, marked with 1/8" and 5mm increments and 1/2" squares, and lines for 45° and 60° cuts.

Plus yellow, orange, purple and green states on these U.S. map notepads. You'll get a 2-pack, both U.S.-shaped (sans Alaska and Hawaii) and including the Great Lakes, and both very useful for classroom or home-school geography practice. This clever little artist's brush holder/cleaner will keep those oil or watercolor brushes standing up (or down) straight with their little heads under water or paint thinner, clean and un-bent until you need them. A 4" dia x 2" deep aluminum cup is topped by a 6" tall U-shaped handle with a brush-holding spring across the top. Inside the cup is a mesh screen (with its own handle) for to clean the paint off and let it settle to the bottom, away from the bristles. The handle is removable for storage or travel.
