Rub–Ons

Mead Impressions are wonderful 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" preprinted cards with A2 designer envelopes and retail-quality outsides - and the insides left blank for your text and pictures. Each set comes with a CD-ROM that's compatible with newer PCs and Macs. They print on ink jets or lasers. Choose one of their greetings, or create your own. We have sets of 26 with pastel umbrellas for showers, and confetti/streamers on a black background for parties, and a set of 50 with infants icons on yellow that will work for the shower invitations, announcements and thank you notes. The sets sold for about $15.00 each. We'll package (2) different sets together for a whole lot less. Our choice of styles.

Blu, Blue, Blau
Colore a tempera, blu di cobalto imit. Plakat tempera, kobaltblau imit. Gouache, blue de cobalt imit. A paint by any other name will look the same - in this case, blue. This 60ml tube of good quality #230 tempera is made in Italy by Maimeri & Co. Similar but much smaller (18ml) tubes are retailing for $7.50. Buy one of those and you'll really be blue.

Black Mesh...
We're glad we were there to catch these good-sized pieces of black fiberglass netting before they were thrown out. They could benefit from a few minutes in sudsy water, but the heavyweight 1/16" mesh are perfect for lots of small jobs. They're fall-off pieces left after the manufacture of car bras for sexy little sports jobs. Most of the pieces we have are about 4 ft x 2 ft. We'll pick (2) about that size. Your girl friend doesn't understand why you're trying to cobble up a 52-DDD bra from leftover mesh? Tell her to just stick to her netting.

Super Scooper
This dustpan will sweep you off your feet. Forget those wimpy plastic jobs - if this had a longer handle, it would qualify as a shovel. It is enameled steel, 17" wide x 10" deep, with a slight retaining lip 3/4" in from the front edge. The handle is an 8" tubular loop, shaped to let you get a good grip on it. Chinese Rifflers
Riffler files are most prized by sculptors, wood carvers, model makers and similar fashioners of precision objects. They come in a variety of flat, round and triangular shapes. They are usually pointed and always have a delicate curve toward the point which makes them particularly useful for working in tight and curvy spots. We have a set of (10) in an attractive red plastic case. They are 3 x 180 mm size (about 7"), and were made in China for the King Manufacturing Co. Very nice quality at a very nice price. They can cost as much as $4.00-$5.00 apiece in regular outlets.

A Real Grabber
Okay, it isn't the cheapest magnet in the warehouse - but we dragged John's 165 lb filing cabinet around the dock with this 4-7/8" x 1" x 3/4" ceramic magnet, we're rating it conservatively at 100 lbs of pull, and we think it's a bargain. It has a 6" bracket with mounting holes on 5-1/2" centers, plus a 1/2" ID eyehook bolted into the center of it. It's all set to troll the bottom of the lake next time your filing cabinet falls overboard.
