Peculiar Injection Vials
We've never seen anything quite like these little clear glass vials, which means they must have myriad uses, particularly at this price. The large one is 1-3/4" tall x 15/16" dia with a shoulder and a 1/2" ID lipped mouth on the top, leading into a 1" deep conical cavity. The bottom has a 5/8" mouth, with an internal lip, and opens into a cavity around the little conical reservoir. So you can fill either end. Which would hold maybe a couple of ccs one way, or 1/4 oz the other way. The little one is the same, but is 1-9/16" tall x 5/8" dia and a 1/4" ID mouth on top, 7/16" on the bottom. We're thinking obscure lab experiments, or chimneys for streetlamps in model railroads. Or something.

Measuring pH
This handheld pH meter from Hanna Instruments measures 0-14 pH to 0.01 resolution, accurate to +/- 0.2. Calibration screw for 7.01, and another for 4.01 or 10.01 pH. The unit is 6-3/4" X 2" X 15/16" OA, with a 4-digit 1-1/8" X 1/2" LCD readout, and a replaceable 4-1/8" long x 9mm dia probe that screws into the case. Comes with a tip cover for the probe and (2) button-cell batteries. Don't forget to order the 20mL foil packs of pH 7.01 Buffer Solution, with a chart listing the specific pH of the solution at various temperatures. Made for laboratory or industrial use only, it has a tolerance of +/-0.01 pH at 77°F. Also from Hanna Instruments.

Tiny Bottles
Like for perfume samples, with spill-proof mouths. All clear glass, either approx 1” tall x 1” wide x 1/2” thick with a 3/16” neck and approx 5/32” ID lipped mouth, or 1-1/4” tall x 1” wide x 11/16” thick with a 1/4” neck and 1/8” ID mouth. They hold approx 1ml and 1.5ml, respectively. You need itty-bitty stoppers? We suggest carving ’em out of pencil erasers.

Corked Or Uncorked
A clear glass bottle, 2-13/16" tall x 5/8" dia, with a short neck and a 5/16" ID mouth with a 1/2" OD lip. No cap, but it'll take a #0 cork, which we've thoughtfully listed below. The cork measures 1/2" long with a 3/8" dia top and a 9/32" bottom.

Find Polish Metal!
Search for zlotys on the beach, or just be the first militaria collector on your block with a USSR-era Polish army surplus mine detector. (That's a Polski armia nadwy?ka möj wykrywacz, we think.) Comes complete with (8) feet of pipe (in 2-foot sections) for getting farther from the mines, a 5-foot cord on the headphones, a log-book, a canvas carrying pouch, and a small box wrench. The downside? It's battery operated (and may even come with one or two dead ones) but not by batteries in any size we recognize, so making it operable could be a challenge.
