Need a combination tweezers/magnifying lens? This one wins hands down! Elegantly simple. Easy to use. The short but wide grips on the stainless steel tweezers offer better control, but still come to a fine point. The 7/8" dia acrylic lens is only 3.5X, as opposed to the 6X claimed, but 3.5 works for most jewelers, hobbyists, scientists, and mothers of sliver-impaled children. Sweet.

Mega-cool toy air cannon. Birthdays will never be the same! The instructions on the AirZooka" say it blasts a gust (ball?) of air up to 20 feet but we blew out a candle at 30 feet, and it only took us three tries. (And you can hear the near-misses as they blow past--which is the mega-cool part.) Plastic, 11" dia x 10 1/2" deep, like a bucket with a pistol grip and a fold-down sight. The (3) segments unscrew and collapse for storage between birthdays. We'll pick fluorescent blue, green, magenta or orange, and you'll need two if you want to have air wars.

A Message From One Of Your Fans
Literally. Here's a little (4-3/8" tall) battery-operated plastic fan with an LED display built into one of the rubber blades. While it blows the air it also magically flashes (6) different messages of up to (16) characters each. You create the messages with push-buttons on the side and watch them scroll and rotate. "I'm all sweaty" and "Leave me alone" both fit, we've learned. Will hang from an 18" neck cord or stand up on its little bottom. Fan body color can be blue, red, green or black, our choice. The (3) "AA" batteries it needs are included.

Shine A Little Light On...
whatever needs illuminating with our small emergency combo flashlight/lantern. The flashlight, with 4 LEDs behind a 15/16" dia flashlight lens, forms a convenient carrying handle. Below it is a 10-LED lantern with a frosted 4-1/4" x 1-1/4" plastic panel that can stand upright on a table. Both run 12- to 14-hours on the (4) "AAA"s that are included. The beige-ish and dark green plastic unit measures 7" long x 3-5/8" x approx 2", with a rubberized grip. The flashlight portion adjusts (for bigger fingers?) but doesn't detach.

Egypto-Chess Laser Game
Board games meet Ramses in the 21st century. Khet, The Laser Game, is played on an 80-square grid with a pharaoh and obelisk playing king and pawn, sort of, plus a mirrored pyramid and a wandering "djed," and it's chess-like, except for the lasers firing from the corners and bouncing off the mirrors. The board measures 17-3/8" x 14-1/4" x 1-1/4" tall and the game is over when the pharaoh gets zapped. Includes (4) "AAA" batteries. For (2) players, ages 9 and up.
