DIY Health Care
We'd like every home in America to have a complete set of medical equipment. Then all this boring talk about national health care will be moot. Here's one to get you started: face masks and a tube. Each order gets you (1) adult- and (1) kid-sized mask (transparent green vinyl; covers mouth, nose and chin) and a corrugated plastic tube, 35" long, 7/8" OD, 3/4" ID, all in a plastic pouch. Hook it up to your nebulizer and inhale those cleansing vapors. Or make your own Halloween costume, scuba gear or fire-fighting equipment. Or just wear it around town and see what kind of reaction you get.

Luminous Paint
Nontoxic, water–reducible acrylic–based paint sticks to most surfaces and glows in the dark after only a brief exposure to bright ambient light. We have a 2 oz bottle of yellow/green that will glow for up to 20 hours. This works great for Halloween costumes and hobby applications, and glows like crazy under blacklight. And without a single radionuclide! Amazing!

Mylar Warmth
They have the look of something designed for the space program. They're mylar, a paper-thin shiny metallic sheet, that comes in handy when your car breaks down in winter, or when you're separated from your climbing group on the slopes of Mt. McKinley. Barring that, they're also a perfect material for a do-it-yourself cold-climate Halloween costume-near impossible to rip by hand, but cut easily with scissors. There's no padding, so they wouldn't be too comfy on your bed, but they sure are warm. They both come folded about the size of a wallet. The Blanket is 52" x 82", the Sleeping Bag is 34" x 84".

Submersible Pumps
Here are the ins and outs of submersible pumps for your DIY fountain.These small electric pumps run on household current (115 VAC), are rated for continuous duty, have (4) suction–cup feet and an adjustable flow control, and take 1/2" ID tubing. Our indoor/outdoor version is roughly 2" sq x 2-1/4", has a 6–ft grounded power cord, and pumps 70 gal/hr @ 1 ft lift. Plug it in and go with the flow.

Screaming Yellow Banners
Each has black lettering stenciled on bright yellow plastic tape, with the message repeated over and over. They are 3" wide by 200 ft or 1000 ft long. All are the real thing, made for sale to police and other serious users. Some have an obvious industrial application, some will work in the school playground, some seem appropriate to cordon off the kids’ rooms.

Pleated Plastic
If you're looking for robot arms for your little one's costume, you've found them. Each glossy black rubber sleeve with accordion pleats is 10" long at rest and compresses to 3". The body is 3" inside dia and 4" outside dia. One end has a 4" opening. The other has a 1" x 1-1/2" rectangular cuff. The material holds its shape as it flexes, but is light enough to be cut easily. Originally a shock boot, it's now just waiting for your crafty approach to high-tech art.

Mini Air Compressor
Nifty device that takes maxi air and squeezes it down into a mini condition. The device is roughly 6-1/2"" long x 6" tall x 4" wide. It has a 10 ft. cord that plugs into an auto lighter socket: i.e. it runs on 12VDC @ 10 amps. Air output is via a 12" hose with a variety of valve adapters for tires, soccer balls, rubber rafts, and just dusting off the environment. Complete with a 0-250 psi gauge. Which should be plenty of pressure to explode a weak bike tire or flimsy beach ball, so please be careful!

Mix To The Max
Your choice: A 16" long metal paint mixer with a 3/8" shaft that fits right into a power drill. The bottom has a metal whirligig on it that does a fast, neat job mixing a gallon of paint. Or the smaller 10” mixer with a 3/16” shaft and a plastic whirligig, for pints of paint (or pints of Ramos gin fizz for your next Mardi Gras party). Simple, but effective. We have them because Pat bought one of the larger ones at (gasp!) another store, and liked it so much we had to find a supplier. And because we know that the new paint for your living room has been sitting in the closet, settling, for six months. Kismet.
