Brain Benders
A box of illusions: make big objects look small, and small objects look big; change black and white into color; turn drawings into old-style movies - just for starters. You get a motorized zoetrope/spinner with discs and strips, and a really amazing "altered perspective chamber," along with directions for a dozen optical activities. It's really mind-bending - but don't forget to buy (2) "AA" batteries for the zoetrope. Spinning it by hand just doesn't work as well! For ages 8 to adult.

Pop one of these roughly 1-1/4" dia stones into the toe of a sock, smash it with a hammer, and be the first person ever to see your real-as-Nature-makes-it geode!! Ninety percent of them have the familiar beautiful white crystals inside. Formed by volcanic action, they are found all over the world, but ours are from Mexico. There is no way to tell from the outside if they have crystal centers, but we will send you two just to raise your odds, and we haven't had a dud yet in our stores!! Much much more fun and satisfaction than buying one already cracked.

Duck! It’s A Flying Chick!
How many chicks would a Chicken Chucker chuck if a Chicken Chucker could chuck chicks? At least the (5) 1–1/2” rubber chickens that come with it, and as many more extra hens as you chuck into it. The Chucker, a 5–3/4” long gun that shoots pullets instead of bullets, looks like a plastic water pistol, and can catapult miniature poultry up to 15 feet. The perfect little chickens look like standard rubber chickens that have been playing with Rick Moranis’ kids. Not for children under three or omnivorous pets, who might choke on a chicken bone.

Puff the Magic AirZooka
Mega-cool toy air cannon. Birthdays will never be the same! The instructions on the AirZooka" say it blasts a gust (ball?) of air up to 20 feet but we blew out a candle at 30 feet, and it only took us three tries. (And you can hear the near-misses as they blow past--which is the mega-cool part.) Plastic, 11" dia x 10 1/2" deep, like a bucket with a pistol grip and a fold-down sight. The (3) segments unscrew and collapse for storage between birthdays. We'll pick fluorescent blue, green, magenta or orange, and you'll need two if you want to have air wars.

Helmut! Your Pants Are Dancing!
Nothing quite says pure Bavarian goofiness like a nice pair of hopping lederhosen. There's no actual Bavarian inside, you understand, just the (literally) stand-alone, peripatetic pants. Wind them up, watch them hop around the desk or the brauhaus tabletop. The "happy sort of short trouser" stands 3-1/2" tall, with suspenders. Unterhalten, ya?

Whimsical Hip
You'll remember these wooden guys-they're from before plastic. And electricity. Push the big button on the bottom of one of these articulated figures and it flops over in a heap; let go and it stands up proud. We've got a set with a red dog, a black cat and a particularly appealing reindeer. They'd make great props for telling stories to kids, and they'd be the soul of whimsical hip lined up in a row on the mantel. All approx 4-1/2" to a bit over 5" tall. Our each is a set of (3) different.

Gloopglass
Like an hourglass, but with multicolored oozy gloop instead of sand. Much more fun to watch. They're called "Shining Timers," but they're pretty vague as to the timing part. 5" tall x 2-1/8" dia, bifurcated with blue and clear gloop in the half-round chambers, and takes approx 5-6 minutes.
