We adore him!! Far and away the most charming, talented and generally lovable monster we have seen in ages!! He is about 2" dia x 3" tall. (Needs a bit of a diet, truth to say.) When you wind him up he travels forward with a waddling walk, breathing a shower of sparks from his mouth!! Green, yellow and orange painted plastic, with a face like a cross between a crocodile and a frog with teeth, and a stubby tail, he is absolutely charming and irresistible.

Perennially popular in the stores, the Martian Popper Thing is virtually useless. It is a rather clown-like figure molded from the waist up. About 4-1/2" tall, it is made of air filled latex, sort of like a heavy balloon. Squeeze the orange body and the blue eyes and red ears and nose pop out in a very satisfying manner. Definitely approved as a method for expressing your mood when you desperately want to choke the @!&*! out of someone. Infinitely reusable. Which is a must for most of us!!!

A hand puppet with two arms ending in boxing gloves. Each puppet is mounted on a stick which you hold in your hand leaving two fingers free to work the controls for the spring mounted arms. A flick of the finger and it unleashes a swift left or right jab., fighting for the right! With a head around 3” dia., each is 9” tall with a black robe holding your hand as you work it. Get the nun in full habit

Bright and bouncy, these thick colorful balloons inflate to a super 30" dia! Great for homemade weather balloons, giant whoopee cushions, fun in the pool, or just kicking around the yard. Need strong lungs to inflate, so these aren't for smokers; swallowable, so they're not for kiddies under 8 either. Assorted colors.

How do you tell a real superhero? It ain't because he has kung-fu moves, or looks good in tights. The historical giants in our superhero collection, reduced to 5" to 6" tall plastic figures, wear their contemporary dress. Thus confined, they're limited to moving limbs and heads, with some being more motile than others. These superheroes are actual historical figures, though, rather than Hollywood heroes. Leonardo also comes with a 4-1/4" easel, plus a little frame with (4) interchangeable masterpieces to display. All the figures include fascinating facts and short biographies on the back of the package.

Nice, if odd, plush marionettes. All (3) are appropriately patterned and good sized. They're about (2) feet nose to tail, and have a goofy, gangly charm, as marionettes so often do, bless their little strings. The odd part is that the zebra and elephant both have small bodies, long legs and really, really long necks-imagine an entire zoo designed by the giraffe. Cute, though, and right at home in a child's imaginative mind.

THE American classic novelty item (even ahead of the whoopee cushion and rubber vomit, we think) is a set of chattering choppers. Auto-dentures. Invented by Eddy Goldfarb in 1949, a man who made the Toy Industry Hall of Fame ahead of Milton Bradley, these are, not to put too fine a point on it, the sine qua non of gagdom, the ne plus ultra of spring-driven frivolity. Ours are 2-1/2" dia, with a wind-up key.

This miniature steel reproduction of a cash register, faithful to the original toy in look and quality, is actually a coin bank. Takes nickels, dimes and quarters (you can add other denominations through a rear slot), and keeps a running total. Locks after the first quarter and won't open until it registers $10. Heavy, and just over 6" tall x 4-1/2" wide x 5-1/4" deep. Look for this on the Antiques Roadshow in, say, 2108.

It's a spiky, blinking, pure fool of a happy little ball. We recommend it for those days when smooth, boring balls that don't light up just aren't enough. We'll pick a nice neon color with a couple of contrasting dual-color LEDs inside. Measures approx 2" dia. Bounce it and watch it blink, just for you.

Can you say anthropomorphism, boys and girls? More than just a stress ball, this cute little squishy rubber earth or apple, in appropriate colors, comes complete with stick arms and legs (not removable) and removable white mitts and boots. The little guys stand on your desk, or your teacher's, and measure 2-3/4" dia x 4-1/2" tall.

But order (20) of these and you can have your own personal night of a thousand stars. Our each is a pack of (50) plastic, glow-in-the-dark, UV-sensitive stars, ready-to-stick-up with the included tiny tape squares. The stars themselves are 5-pointed, 7/8" across, and they glow bluish-purple instead of the usual pale green. (Looks much better with heavy metal posters and won't make your skin look sallow if you stick them on your forehead.)
