Spud Launcher
A plastic pistol shaped toy that shoots slugs of raw potato. Push the barrel into a potato, break off the slug, aim and shoot up to fifty feet. Loads of fun, environmentally harmless, and about as safe as any "projectile" toy can be!! Pulls apart for cleaning. For kids ages 5 and up.

Gyroscope
2" flywheel in well made metal frame. The trick is the same as it has been for 100 years. Wind the string through the spindle, pull it firmly to set the flywheel spinning, and perform effortless balancing magic on pencil tips, string tightropes, and the like. We tend to forget that bicycles and aircraft navigation both rely heavily on gyroscopic principles. It's never too early to tell the kids. Besides, it's fun.

Flying Bird
From France comes this fun mechanical plastic bird that really flies by flapping its wings. It is about 8" long and has a wingspan of 16" tip to tip. Snap the wings in place, wind up the rubberband drive and toss it gently into the air on its maiden flight. It flies up to fifty yards with a satisfying fluttering sound. Comes with a spare rubberband drive mechanism.

Foster fantasy! The 4" flexible rubber animal heads are hand puppets for young children, although they are probably finger puppets for you. The realistic heads, with lots of teeth and beady eyes, include a hippo, elephant, giraffe, gorilla, tiger, cougar, camel, crocodile, snake, wolf and polar bear, plus a goofy horse who looks like he's been drinking the Budweiser(r), instead of pulling it. Maybe that explains how he got in with such a wild crowd. We'll pick out (4) different animals for you.

It's 1953 all over again! Now you can buy your favorite childhood toy for your grandkids! We have the original Burp Gun that rapid-fires small ping-pong-type balls the length of our office as fast as we can pump the barrel (no batteries needed). All right, we remember the grip of the original as plain old brown plastic, and this one is bright red - but kids are used to a lot more stimulation these days! The Burp Gun, which comes with 15 balls, is 30" long when fully extended. The Burp Pistol, which comes with 7 balls, is 12" at its smallest and extends to 17". Great fun - but maybe you'd better buy a couple of bags of extra balls (10 per bag). Big sisters still stomp on them.

Incredibubbles!
We love these! You're going to love these! Your kids are going to love these! Hundreds of clear marble-sized bubbles can cover the floor, cling to the sides of furniture, land on your arm. They float enchantingly, rising on air currents you can't even feel. After a few seconds, the bubbles are hard enough to catch or stack. Some will still be perched in out-of-the-way spots a day later. Touchabubbles goop, thicker than the bubble-blowing liquid you're familiar with, comes in a 4" plastic test tube with a wand built into the cap, and a clip on the side so you can carry it in a shirt pocket. The goop is nontoxic, but it tastes really bad, and you probably won't want these landing on expensive tabletops, so kids under 8 should have adult help with them. They should be sharing the fun anyway!

Puff the Magic AirZooka
Mega-cool toy air cannon. Birthdays will never be the same! The instructions on the AirZooka" say it blasts a gust (ball?) of air up to 20 feet but we blew out a candle at 30 feet, and it only took us three tries. (And you can hear the near-misses as they blow past--which is the mega-cool part.) Plastic, 11" dia x 10 1/2" deep, like a bucket with a pistol grip and a fold-down sight. The (3) segments unscrew and collapse for storage between birthdays. We'll pick fluorescent blue, green, magenta or orange, and you'll need two if you want to have air wars.

Sluuuuuuuuuunky
This is a plastic version of the gray spring toy that rhymes with stinky, but it's twice as tall, many times longer, and a gazillion times more colorful. Ours is 3" in dia x 5" tall and runs through the spectrum twice before it's done, which is pretty near forever. It stretched the length of our office, maybe 35 feet, and still had more to give, which makes us think that aside from its toy potential, it'd make a honey of a party decoration, like an indestructible crepe paper streamer. Get a few of them and your festive adornment needs are met forever.

Semi-Tractor
These radio controlled little-big-rigs are about 1:55 scale (3-3/8" long) and maneuver just like the road warriors, but on a kitchen table. We think they're the smallest working truck tractors in captivity. Each includes an internal rechargeable battery pack (recharges in under a minute). You add (3) "AA" batteries for the controller. We'll pick from assorted colors, and the pack of (2) will have different frequencies so they can race and crash into each other, because what fun are they otherwise?
