Little Big Motor
Packs a hefty punch for its size. This little 12VDC motor draws 270mA no load and spins at 2400 rpm. It has a 2-3/8" long x 1-11/16" dia case with a flattened 3/16" dia x 1-1/16 long shaft, and 7-1/2" long leads. Reminds our motor maven of the ones that drive those little driveway kiddie cars.

Gear Motor
Open, close or move whatever with this mighty little 3-12VDC 4RPM gear motor designed to operate a vent in a Chrysler product. Draws just 15mA no-load and stalls at 200mA. Output is via a 1/2" dia x 1/2" long sprocketed shaft. The case measures a diminutive 4-1/8" x 3-1/4" x 1" thick with (3) arms with 1/4" mounting holes. No leads, but the gearbox pops open to get into it and there are (2) terminal clips that hit the motor.

A handful of hobby motors for a very reasonable price. This Mabuchi #RE-14 motor is only 1-1/8" x 13/16" dia, plus a 5/16" x 1/16" dia shaft. It operates from 1-1/2 to 3 VDC. Under load, at 1-1/2 VDC it draws 140 mA and spins at 500 rpm, and at 3 VDC, 800 mA, spins at 800 rpm. Comes with (2) 3" leads terminating in ring connectors. If you're looking for a larger quantity, try our classroom pack of (50). It’s a bargain!

Tough Gear Motor
Small but durable. Measures 1-1/2" long (including the terminals) x 1-1/16" dia, with a removable, 1-1/4" dia x 1-1/8" long gearbox and 3/16" x 3/8" long flattened offset shaft. Runs between 6-12 VDC. At 12 VDC, it spins 7 rpm and draws 90mA. Gearbox ratio is approx 400:1. Has (3) 3/32" mounting holes on the shaft face. Reversible.

Attention robotics boffins: Here's a nice, powerful 12-24VDC Mabuchi brush motor with a gearbox and pulley attached. At its nominal 24DC, it spins 12rpm, draws 50mA no load, and stalls a 750mA. Has a 3/4" long x 5/16" flattened shaft with a 4-5/8" dia x 5/16" wide (3/16" ID) single-sheave pulley attached, with a matching O-ring. The gearbox measures 2-3/4" x 3" x 9-1/16". The motor measures 1-1/16"dia x 1-5/8" long and comes with 7" leads and a 2-pin Molex connector.

Flat-Out Power
Great for a tight space, this flat 12 VDC motor is 5-1/2" dia x only 2-1/8" thick, made to fit into the engine compartment of a small car. The 9/16" long x 5/16" dia shaft has a pressure-fit pin and a groove for a retaining ring. With no load, it's 1800 rpm and 550 mA at 6 volts, and 4000 rpm and 750 mA at 12 volts. Pushed to 24 volts, it hits 6300 rpm. It's reversible, has (7) 3/16" mounting holes, and a double 9" lead ending in a 2-pin connector. Brand new, very good torque, and a real beauty.

Fair Weather Fountain
Couldn't be simpler. A small 6VDC submersible water pump lifts liquid approx 18" and runs off the 10-1/2" x 6-1/4" x 3/4" thick solar panel that's included. No storage battery, so…no sun, no fontana. But do you really care that your little fountain doesn't work in the rain? You're going to be inside anyway. The pump measures 2-5/8" long x 1-3/8" wide x 1-5/8" tall without the 7/8" x 1/4" ID output tube, and has rubber suction-cup feet. The solar panel has a 38" cord to mate with the pump, and a pair of sliding, 1/4" mounting nuts.
