We’ve got these nice soft foam earplugs in our ears. Shut out dangerous noises from power tools or the factory floor (or nap on airplanes) with these foam plugs that form to fit your ear cavity. From 3M®, they’re rated to reduce continuous sound by up to 28dB. Our packages are (10) or (50) sets of (2) plugs, on account of that’s how many ears you usually want to plug.

We wouldn't recommend these "earmuffs" for working on the deck of an aircraft carrier, but they're plenty good to protect you from lawn mower, blower, and chain-saw noise or from your average garage band. Foam inserts inside plastic; stretch-to-fit headband, and ear covers that can be adjusted 2-1/2" up or down.

Get Down On Your Knees...
and thank us for this pair of contoured, hard-plastic-shell knee pads. The plastic shells measure approx 5-3/8" x 5" and are attached to 9" x 6" x 1/2" thick pads with (2) elastic and hook-and-loop straps. Grown-ups with decent-sized arms will find these also work as elbow pads. Our each is, with a certain anatomical logic, a pair.

Mittens Mit Gantlets
These are tough, 14" long OA, leather work mittens with extra-thick palms and thumb pads, reinforcing rivets, and protective gantlets. They're a largish size, about 5" wide at the wrist, and made of what we think is a quite fashionable two-tone gray leather, because where is it written that you can't look good while you're working? Yes, our each is a pair.

Lens Tape
We don't know whether to list this under tape or optics. It is amber colored translucent plastic tape for the temporary repair of turn and tail lights and other warning signals. 2" x 5 ft., get it now so you have it when you need it. 'Cause when you need it we may not have it!! On a happier note, it can also be used to make some zippy stained glass-like windows, if you are content with only one color.

Need some heavy-duty Swedish mittens? You've come to the right place. These are thick, and pretty stiff, leather, suitable for tough work duty. They smell like a catcher's mitt, have reinforcing rivets around the thumbs, and carry a small Swedish shield (that we can't quite identify) stamped on the top of the hand. The rivets are showing their age, and have left small, unobjectionable, marks of maturity on the leather. Our each is a pair. They measure 9-1/2" long x 5-1/2" wide at the wrist, and have little leather hook/eye attachments sewn near the wrists so you can link them together and lose them both instead of just one.

Do Not (Fill In The Blank)
We know there's a message in this 12" dia safety sign with the classic slashed circle. It's red and white on reflective, adhesive-backed vinyl, and the graphics mean "Do not put out fire with liquids." Given its limited application, we're more excited about cutting out the white sections and putting the red circle/slash over a photo of our least favorite politician. But hey, if you're on the safety committee, knock your socks off. Just make sure the sign isn't hung upside down. Then it says "Do not let fire rain into your coffee."

No bull! We have a 9 x 14" bright red non-woven cloth flag to tie or staple on the extra long board sticking out the back of your truck. It is printed in black with a picture of a cop blowing a whistle and flagging you to stop, and the words "stop at for all your lumber needs". But who cares? It won't work for sopping up spills, but it will enrage the neighborhood bull if you flutter it long enough.
