Reduce recycling space with this wall-mount steel can crusher. Very satisfying to use: pull the 12-1/4" long padded handle and it easily smooshes cans up to 5-3/8" tall (standard aluminum beverage size) into squat little accordion-pleated stumps. The Motion Memo (aka Auto-Nagger) is a digital recorder that can be set to replay whenever you or anyone else passes within (4) feet of it. It's a silver and blue plastic oval, 4-1/4" x 2-3/4" x 1-1/4" thick, that records a 16-second message. Terra Cotta Chinese Army
These are very nice miniature replicas of (4) different Chinese terra cotta warriors, modeled on the army unearthed at Xi'an. Ours are 2-1/2" tall, except for the kneeling figure, who's shorter, of course, because he's on his knees. Granted, if you're planning to replicate the 8,099 soldiers in the original you'll need a substantial order (which, as of this writing, we could fill), but even a few dozen would be mighty impressive lined up on the coffee table.

Putin These On Sale
Seventy-plus years of Soviet history neatly packed into a set of (5) wooden nesting dolls, just like the chubby-mummy matryoshka, but with hammer and sickle emblems on their backs. The outer doll is a 6-1/2" tall Gorbachev, with Brezhnev, Khruschev (we think), Joe Stalin, and a tiny, 1-3/4" Vladimir Lenin all nesting inside. Recent Russian events are putin them in the surplus universe.

The Noah's Flood Alarm alerts you instantly to a leaking hot-water heater or an overflowing tub. Place the small, flat plastic sensor where water shouldn't be. Super-Thick Candle Glass
This big, thick glass candle-keeper weighs a nearly untippable (2) pounds. Stands 3-3/8" tall x 4-3/16" dia with 1/2" thick walls, and a 2-1/2" deep x 2-3/8" dia interior. It's deep sea-blue with a grit-ified, pebbly exterior finish. Flat, polished ovals on two sides also let it stand at a nearly vertical angle, mimicking a mini-grotto on table top or aquarium bottom. It casts a lovely cerulean glow as light passes through it. The price is lovely, too, since many of them are pre-priced at $16.50.
