Super-light Magnifier/Fire Starter
At home it's a very nice giant magnifier, a 6-1/8" dia 3X Fresnel lens with a 4-3/4" long plastic handle and a bright, if badly placed, LED. At a campsite it's a Fresnel fire-starter whose big lens is light and flexible enough to fan the flames. The best part? Even with the (2) coin-cell batteries that come in it, it's almost weightless, a nice change from heavy glass magnifiers.

The Desktop Disco
Plug that uPod into a pair of micro-tower flashing disco speakers and turn your desktop, bookshelf or kitchen table into a mini-club. Our pair of self-powered speakers have a wall adapter, and are hardwired together on a 2-foot cord.
